Staff at John Hampden do the Nottingham Marathon for Harry

As part of the ongoing fundraising efforts for the Meningitis Research Foundation three members of John Hampden Grammar School staff ran in the Nottingham Marathon on September 16th. Mr Ludwigsen and Mr Wright ran the full marathon and Miss Storey the half. So far £700 has been raised.

“On a sunny and windy day in Nottingham all three of us managed to completed our respective races. Mr Ludwigsen finished in 3 hours 56 mins; the first time under 4 hours at this distance. Miss Storey finished her first half in under 2 hours (1 hour 56 mins) and Mr Wright finished in 3 hours 48 mins; another personal best. Thank you for all your support”
